Although the device is sleek, the instructions are such that I am unable to download videos to the desired xx.mtv format. The instruction manual, under the section “video mode “, refers me to a section called “movie conversion”. There is no such section in the manual or on the web, including their FAQ section. In their “movie manager” I have attempted to convert xx.flv and xx.mpg formats. The conversion and loading appears to go smoothly, although slowly, but the files will not play; I get an error message. It is possible that this machine works. It is possible that it works well. At this point it is merely a hole that I can dump some time into with no appreciable results.
Music works fine if it is already in xx.mp3 format.

It’s wonderful, but it has its limitation. I see it as best used for a person who doesn’t have a LOT of music/video/photos. I have to scroll thru each one to find the video I want to view. Same with music. Since I only have about 50 tunes, videos and photos — 150 files….it’s not a big problem. The software that grabs videos can be tricky to learn. I am really enjoying it. The price is unbeatable, and the menu is easy to navigate through. It will shut itself after a period of non-activity — which I see that as a good thing! Trickiest part — learning to turn it on and off. Don’t press down to hard, and you’ll be fine.

poor quality. radio deletes your saved presets randomly. you have to wait for songs to start before you can skip them, some taking as long as 5-10 seconds at times.

MP3 player seem to be fine. Still not a IPod lesser quality construction. Was easy to load songs on and the FM seems to work well for what I was wanting.
