How do I get an mp3 connected to windows media player to sync the music?

My sis got an RCA mp3 for christmas last year. we had no computer to put the music on it at the time. now we do but the only thing she still has after a year is the mp3 player itself. i have tried to connect it to windows media player to sync it but it continues to say i need to connect the device when i know its plugged in. what do i do to get it to connect? is it the windows media player? the device? the connection? or is she missing important installation software… if so where do i find that?

  1. Jeff says:

it might be a driver issue, in fact, it probably is. Go to RCA’s site and search for drivers for the particular model of the Mp3 player, u shouldnt have a problem finding driver software
