OMG !!! Thank GOD they posted this! For YEARS now, I’ve been going to my dad’s beachfront house. Everyday I would look out on that shore & think to myself “Wow, look at all that sand, I would just love to go jogging on it… if only I could figure out how”

I’m glad that howcast solved my problems in this informative youtube video.

im so glad they finally got this video up, i live in north carolina and i payed a fortune for premium beachfront property with the hope of one day being able to run on it. however i found i completely lacked the skills and mental fortitude to actually carry it out, i would walk right out to the wave, turn, and my whole body would quake in fear dispair and the thought of taking any accelerated steps forward. ive had 4 heart attacks from this but with this video, im willing to try again thanks

Jeeze. I live by the beach and all it takes is two feet and wet sand. Actually, what is probably more fun and motivational is to run with a friend and chase each other down the beach. That way you fave a fun time while exercising.

I tried running on the beach once, but I didn’t realise just how utterly difficult it was.

I broke my leg, and on one occasion I nearly drowned.

Thanks Howcast! Now I can run on the beach with confidence!!!

  23. mrsbff123 says:

erm… get some running shoes, go to the local non-crowded beach, and start to walk very fast and pick up your legs while you do it. not very hard.

  24. MinnerBren says:

Ooooh, no wonder it never worked when I tried to go running at the beach…

  25. ctb619 says:

I run on the beach frequently and I somehow get by without any of that crap. Why the hell do you need running shoes to run on beach sand?
