the best way to keep the zune’s battery life strong is to charge it either once a month, or you let your zune’s battery die. and once it’s charged don’t over charge it cuz it will make you zune die faster…
Not the same connection. I would recommend getting a zune 2nd gen. I have an 80gb and have done for over a year. Loved the controls and firmware back then and still do now, so easy to use.
Downside: Prone to dents in the back and scratched corners (easy solution: get a case!). Also not a solid-state hard drive so hard bumps (and I mean hard) can cause it to lose where it is or stutter a little.
Prefer it to all iPods, except touch (besides the better battery and storage).
the apple battery life is 36 hours for like 5 charges, then it just drops off like a rock. my ipod touch battery lasted a while for the first 3 or 4 months, now it lasts about 10 hours on music, and about a half hour on video
the 80gb one with a 120 hard drive. i agree, i mean it doesnt look as good as the 80gb, all they had to do was just change teh hard drive, but no, they put an ugly case.
i agree i don’t like the case but i chalk it up to first what am i really buying this zune for…capacity. and second – there are always hard cover cases to put it in to change the way it looks =)

I’m really excited about getting my new Zune. I’ve had an iPod so it’ll be really great to see if Zune really is better.
is it the same connection as an ipod? it looks similar but nowhere talks about the connection.
and is it worth the loss of battery life to get a zune over the ipod classic (ive never liked ipods)

120s ugly, its 2 shiny and who can fill tht much memry unless ur a serious music junkie. I prefer the 80gb better.

are they still selling the zune 120? are they killing the older zunes like the 80, and 30 right? but theyre stilling sell the 120’s right.
